Now that we are through with the basics, I'll give you a little more info about me. I love puppies, any and every kind. I love love: romantic comedies are the best, as well as TLC and the Delilah show on the radio. I am obsessed with weddings. I'm a germ-a-phob. I am one of the most emotional people ever, I will cry every time at Extreme Home Makeover, and maybe even the Bachelor(?!?!, i know). I am a chocolate addict. I'm not kidding. I MUST have chocolate everyday. MUST.
I love music. I love singing. Ever since I had the choice, I choose to be in choir, musicals, barbershop quartets, and show choir. I did it outside of school, inside of school, and in my church. Music speaks to me on a level normal words can't. I'm one of the few people in chorale at OC who aren't required to be because of their scholarship or major. I just love it!
Luckily for me, I am dating a vocal performance major (see info on Parker). I think he's the "bee's knees" and have thought so even back in high school(which is when we started dating). Who knew God would bring two OPPOSITE people together and give them such a powerful love when we were 16/17? God is good. :)
My family is pretty much the BEST, and praise the Lord they all have raised me in a loving, Christian environment. When I'm not in Oklahoma, I live in Fort, Worth, TX, with my mom, dad, sister, and doggie. (And Texas truly is the best, I promise). I have gone to The Hills CoC for all of my life, and have been blessed immeasurably from it.
God has graciously given me many MANY opportunities to do what I love: travel and spread His love. I have gone on mission trips every summer since the 6th grade, including: Oklahoma City(ironic), New Mexico, San Antonio, TX, Arkansas, New Orleans, Mexico, Colorado. I also got to go on short term(10 days) mission trips to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 2008, and 2009. In 2010, I went on a 5 week mission trip to Kampala, Uganda with LST. It was just incredible.
So now, my new team and I are going to be in Romania for 4 weeks - WAH HOO!!!
God truly is so good, and even when I can't see it, I know it in my soul.
